Matting
Matting will be charged at an extra cost, depending on severity. Severely matted coats will be shaved. This can cause skin irritation or nicks as the blade is very close to the skin in order to get underneath the matting. The client agrees that The Wag Club will not be held responsible for any issues arising. Advice and options for keeping your dog’s coat matt free in future will be discussed with you.
Behaviour
Please inform me if your dog is aggressive, has any behavioural issues and has bitten anyone before. If I am able to work with you to desensitise your dog this is on the understanding that the owner will agree to the ongoing commitment and work at home needed to achieve this. The owner will be legally liable for any injuries caused by their dog. If a groom is unable to be completed the owner will pay for time and work completed up to that point.
Fleas/Parasites
Please do not bring your dog to the salon if they knowingly have fleas/parasites. If any are found during the groom an extra cost will be applied for treatment plus salon decontamination and cleaning.
Late Arrivals and Cancellations
The Wag Club runs to a tight schedule, please arrive promptly for your appointment. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated.
48 hours notice must be given for cancellation on all appointments. Failure to do so will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
